timing??

What should my timing be set at? 1968 f100, 360cid, 2wd

Without exhaust emissons Std is 6* and Auto is 10*

And sometimes to obtain better preformance and fuel economy one can advance it another 5*
With the ignitor ignition I have in mine, it is set at 14.

timing??

One of the best ways to set timing, on a non computerized engine, is to advance it until it begins to ping, then back off. You can also take your fuel mileage readings as suggested above, to finalize your readings
