What is the correct map sensor part number for a 01 f250 diesel. Reason i ask...is i got a new one today, but when removing the old one off the truck...i noticed the part number was different then the new one. But they look and are identical. So just making sure....since ford may have upgraded or changed the part number or something.

 

my parts list only shows them from 94-98, but here is the part number anyway


(Ford) F4TZ-9F479-A (94-98; digital)

 

Dieselmann.com lists the 98 and up;analog map sensor as F8UZ-9F479-BA

One that was in the truck: 98AB-9F479-BA

New one i just got : F8UZ-9F479-BA


So the new one matches what you said lusher21....but the one that was in truck...i cant find that part number anywhere. ALl help appreciated. Just curious if anyone else knows difference or has one with part number of old one.

 

This is the link to a web site that I have used to purchase a few parts, and lists the other part number (F8UZ-9F479-BA) as the one for your 01 250. Perhaps the first four digits were a change by Ford...Good Luck.
