Truck hesitates when putting any kind of load on the throttle. No check engine light. Runs ok at idle or when cruising. As soon as you hit the throttle it starts to hesitate. New plug put in a month ago. Any ideas?

 

What kind of plugs did you put in? Some after market plugs can cause this problem.

 

A throttle position sensor going bad can cause this and not set a light.

 

Well, The hesitation got worse today and check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer. Bad coil #4. The truck also has Bosch plugs so they told me to get rid of them.
