Hesitation when applying full throttle....
When I apply full throttle or try to shift into overdrive, I get hesitation. I'm thinking that it's clogged cats. When the truck is idling, I can hear whistling from the middle of the underside. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this could be?

Well, I'd definantly crawl underneath to find the actual cause of the whistling.
Full throttle hesitation (as you describe) can be a number of things ranging from a partially plugged up fuel filter or air filter, emission control related part or even the transmission or torque converter.
How many miles are on the truck and what, if any, mods have you done to the powertrain?

I'm at 111K. This started happening after I removed/cleaned the throttlebody for the p0401. I have not modified the powertrain at all. I'm getting p1450 now so I'm gonna change the fuel filter and check the lines while I'm under there.
