I thought that I had stored this information somewhere but I can't find it. I saw where someone took a 19__ year Ford F100 bumper turned it upside down and trimmed the frame to pull it in closer to the body. It looked really nice. I don't think they sectioned the bumper but they might have. I interested in that information and any other non C Channel Stock bumpers. I'm not real big on something that doesn't appear designed by Ford i.e. a piece of I beam or 6" round tubing. I want it to appear it may have been a deluxe factory option. Post pics if you have them.
I know you won't agree with me if your a purist, but I used a six inch piece of channel and a tube brush gaurd on the front of mine and its saved my front end a few times look at my pictures
You see I think Ford forgot to put bumpers on the 57 and when they realized it they saw an old piece of 6" channel laying around and said hurry up and throw that on he'll be here any minute to pick up the truck. The 59 looks better but I think that was an optional bumper and not the base model. I could probably work with a 59.
Thats the optional 57-58 front bumper. Hard to find but looks great IMO. I'll keep looking through my pics to see if I can find a 57-60 with a non stock but cool front bumper. -4speed
^thats a 58. They used the same bumpers as a 57. Most came with the C channel like your 57. I just use the way. -4speed
