If you are talking about the replaceable rubber/metal mount, I would tell the guy at the parts store to go up in years till he hits a truck that had a 460. It might fit.

Go to your favorite auto parts store. For an example I went to

http://autozone.com

I entered a 73 Marquis. Apparently that year you could have a 429 or a 460. I entered 429. The left mount was #2367, the right mount was #2368. Then I went back and told it I had a 460 instead of the 429. The motor mounts came up the same.
Then I said I had an 86 f250 with a 460. They have the mounts. They are #2709 and are the same for both sides. You can find out alot on these websites now by doing this.

crazy4Fords, My son and I did this swap this past spring. Well from a 400 to a 460 anyway. We got the factory engine perches that mount to the frame. Then there are factory plates that fasten to the block its self, then your rubber mounts sandwich between these. I got all the stuff for an 83 F-250 4x4 which is the first year they offered the 460 in our body style. Or you could use the aftermarket adapter engine mounts. We used all the accessory brackets and steering pump from the donor vehicle which was a 79 E-250 van. I had my local NAPA make up a custom high pressure steering hose for the steering pump swap. Rear sump oil pan and hardware. You will need truck or van exhaust manifolds also, unless you are using headers. Offset oil filter adapter or remote filter mount, alter your factory throttle cable bracket and your in business.

On headers - you can save a lot of hassle later if you go with a set of shorties. Full length headers can run into clearence problems with the tranny crossmember.

(Guess how I know???)
