I plan on puting a 1968 thunderjet 429 from a thunderbird
into my 1980 F150 4by4 that curently has 351m. I believe
i have details worked out -rear sump pan-frame mounts from
f250 460 truck-
some one told me that older 429 blocks were driled diferently
where the ruber mounts bolt up.than later 429-460 blocks
Does any one know if this is true?

The engine mounts are the same with 429/460's
You have a 351M > The bellousing is the same but, The torque convertor is different.
Engine Mounts,Rear sump oil pan,TC,Bell housing.
