96 voyager TCC solenoid

I am the owner of a 98 expy, however I have been working on my father's 1996 plymouth grand voyager....any help would be appreciated: here is the problem:

its a 96 voyager and my OBDII reader is throwing out a P0743 code "Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical" I think my problem could be the TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) solenoid but I am not sure. The engine is hesitant at times (as if the lock up solenoid is not engaging) and feels boggy before getting up to highway speeds. Any Ideas or possible fixes?

Quite a few TSB's on them. Check the wiring harness. The kickdown rod can cut a hole through the plastic conduite and into the wires. If its a 3.3L you can have problems with the external solenoids that will give you that code but the cut wires is more common.

It is in fact a 3.3L Have you seen this problem previously? If so where are some common places to look for cut wires?
