OK, The time has come. I'm making a move to Hawaii for a couple of years (for work) and it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to take my truck. It breaks my heart though, to leave her here ('92 F150 302 5-spd 4.10 4x4 manual hubs). But she has body rust, which will only get worse in that salt air, plus the expense of moving (3,000 miles driving + 2,500 by sea container), plus changing laws for transporting Haz Mat, plus the fact that they are giving me a new ford truck to use when i get there (I have to keep justifying this to myself).
So they question is: Can anyone give me a list of the things i should do to properly store this beautiful truck for 2+ years so she is in good shape when i come back? She will be undercover in an open-sided barn.
Oh, and selling her is not an option. It would be like selling your first born!!
