2007 Explorer fuel filter location?

OK, I'm in the same boat. 2006 Explorer, 4.6L V8, and I've looked on both frame rails, up and down, and I'm completely missing it. I bought a Napa gold filter, it's fairly sizable, Ford can't have hidden it that well, dambit. I seached this forum diligently, and don't tell me "just follow the fuel line." Where is the little pot-licker?

I saw that reply on another thread dealing with a 2002 Explorer. The only shield I could see with 2 fasteners was the one where my floor jack was positioned to lift the rig. The two bolts looked like they went right into the frame under the front of the passenger front door - could it be that one?

I got the fuel filter changed this weekend. What a PITA! First remove 3 13mm bolts to get a heat shield off, then 2 more 10mm nuts come off to remove a plastic shield. Then, and only then, does the filter show it's ugly face. There is a plate attached to the frame under the passenger door side that has 2 bolts in it, but the plate is tack welded to a crossmember so it's always in the way. I didn't need the fuel filter tool (looks like goofy scissors), just my fingers. One end has a C clip and the inlet side has a red clamp that is tough to figure out. I had to go to Serious Explorations - a dedicated Explorer/Ranger site - to get a decent idea of how to get at this. It was a permanent sticky on their site.
This is obviously an attempt to make everyone head to the dealer to get this filter changed. Absolutely stupid.

Just did this filter again at 126K miles
And it's still a PITA. You can watch all the internet videos you want, but they always have the Explorer on a lift. When you are under the car in your driveway, all you can get is one hand up in there. The green clip is fine, it's the red one that is just plain evil. And everything is sharp in there, lots of heat shields and sheet metal.
