I assume you are talking about the rear axle. My 78 F-350 has a Dana 70 rear axle with a measurement of 45 inches between the center bolt holes on each perch. A Dana 60 is interchangable with the Dana 70 as the 70 is just a beefier rear end. The perch measurments should be identical. The only differences between the F-250 and F-350 rearends are the size (Dana 60, 70, ECT..) UNLESS you go to a dually rearend which will have a narrower measurement due to a narrower frame width. So a F-350 axle SHOULD BE a bolt in on a F-250 as long as the spring perch measurements are the same. Hope this helps!

The fronts will interchange, but the rear will not. High Boy rear frame sections aren't as wide as the low boy, '77.5 - '79.

Some 77.5 - 79 f250's had dana 60 fronts under them. It depends on how it was ordered. Any of these will bolt in.
