i dont know if this is whats wrong but i turn my key and its kind of hard to turn like it needs oiled but i dont know what will fix it .i tried new keys and that didnt do it do any ideas? tx brooklyn park mn
I;m not sure if the truck is like my mustang but the ign. switch should have a little hole in it if you put the key in the switch and turn it to the on postion then put a paper clip in the hole and turn the key back the whole key assembly will pull out then you can oil it with a light oil such as oil for a fishing reel or sewing machine I hope this helps
what year is this truck? Is the switch in the column or the dash? The above description is correct for a column switch. Dash switch should unscrew from the back and after you unplug it, it slides out towards the seat. I'm not real sure without knowing the year.
Hand me that hammer, I think I can make it fit.
