I have had my truck for 1 year this month. Three trips from the houston area to Tucson AZ where I now live. I have not had a single problem with the truck. I have towed and carried big loads and been off roading alittle bit with it too. I wouldn't trade it for another one.

no problems with my truck yet I just hit 22,000 miles the other day, and she's only 11 months old. smooth quiet ride, even when I'm towing my trailer.

I love my truck!

I have had my STX 2004 for 1 year now. 15,000 miles not a bit of trouble, except for butyl pad. Replaced with no problems. 4.6 V8 has plenty of power for me, but I was used to 4 cylinder trucks. It is enough engine for my needs.

'04 Lariat SCrew 2 wheel drive, no issues except a blown fuse that controlled the power seats and adjustable pedals. A lsight shimmy in certain conditions but nothing to make a big deal about.....makes you wonder if these guys are being to picky? I haven't seen anyone personally with any of these major problems that are discussed here.

My emergency brake seems to stick and I needed the butyl recall but I am really quite happy!

No doubt the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have owned nearly all major manufacturers, that includes cars. Trucks I have owned VW, Nissan (2), Toyota, and Ford Ranger.

I agree. I had the butyl pad recall too, but I took that off myself with relative ease.
Still have to put on the spray on rubber, but that's easy.

I too had a 4 cyl truck before this, so my 4.6 V8 is plenty, even with my cargo trailer (6'x14').

25000 KM... 14.5 months... No Problems.

One adjustment... rear door on supercab, driver's side, knock after hitting very rough washboard when it had 1000km. Repaired in one visit.

Best truck I ever owned... it's my first Ford.

To date:
1982 Chevy S10 bought in 1988 - Transmission Slip
1999 Chevy S10 bought in 1988 - No issues
1990 Chevy Heavy half 4X4 in 1999 - Issues after issues...brakes, clutch...
1991 Chevy Cavalier in 1991 - Brakes, chunky shifter
1992 Isuzu Rodeo in 1993 - No issues
2001 Isuzu Trooper in 2001 - No issues
2004 Ford F150 in March 2004 -
