Has anybody tried to put limited slip in or does anyody other than Detriot Locker make limited slip for this rear end??

Thank you in advance

A posi for that rear end should be very easy to find. Its just a 14 bolt SF, I believe, could be wrong. But I would go with a Eaton posi, a little cheaper and not a full locker. It would be better on the street.
Order it from Randy's Ring and Pinion, those guys know what they are doing. And have good quality stuff.

In fact there are advertisements for lockers and posi on the banner right below here.

Hey, got a quick question about the ford limited slips since they just got brought up... I've also got an 04 4x4 srw 6.0 auto 3.73 limited slip, and here lately every so often if i get on it fairly hard and get the tires spinnin, my right tire will spin, but the left won't, or atleast doesn't leave a mark... and while this happens, I hear a grinding/metal spinning sound, if that makes sense. It only makes this noise when I'm on it fairly hard from a stop. Is it my limited slip slipping and making that noise? I've only got about 7000 miles on the truck, coud something have worn out or broken? Is it a clutch or geared limited slip? Anyway, sorry for all the questions, just tryin to figure out if it's normal or a problem.

Well its a limited slip not a locker. So you might get some spin and might not. The grinding noise could be a broken diff or you broke some gears on the ring.
Its still new take it in.
