I've seen that list before. But, I have a 2003, 3.0, X-cab, 4x2 that is not flex fuel.

I have a 2002, 3.0 extended cab 4x2 that is not Flex Fuel. I owned a 2000 3.0 x-cab that was flex fuel. I think that list is incorrect.

The list is actually a work in progress. I took off of a government website, and I have been told before that it is not exactly correct. Ford changed policy somewhere along the line regarding FFV's, reducing their projected numbers, I don't think the list reflects that change.

So the best thing would be for people to keep posting and pointing out any descrepancies that they might see in the list. Then we'll all have some better information by which to go by.

You can always go by the VIN. 8th position indicates the engine. U is non-Flex, V is Flex Fuel.
