Keep lights ON

Keep lights ON
I never drive without my lights on. Is there a way to keep them on all the time without covering up the light sensor on the dash and without turning the switch to ON? I want to avoid turning the lights to ON during the day (and back to OFF when I turn off the truck) and AUTO during night. I can cover up the sensor but then it covers up the red flashing theft light too.

Running Lights
I just got the mudule installed today, you keep it on auto, reason being is that the running lights give youapprox. 75% of the light output. And when it gets dark the auto kicks them up to regular power. If you keep them turned off instead of auto the lights will not reach their full brightness.

Can you do this yourself...yes. The Relay costs $31.63 and the Resistor costs $50.93 when i last called the dealer in january. I have not added the parts yet as i am waiting on warmer weather.
The links below should answer all your questions.
