Soundproofing

Anyone done any soundproofing on their van? If so, what did you use and how well did it work? Fishin' for ideas for mine...

My custom cargo van had house fiberglass glued to the interior walls, vapor barrier to the inside. It really made it quiet and warm.

I was gonna use foam carpet underlay.. its rubberized on one side.. and not too thick... its not like i will be sleepingin it during winter months.. unless the women kicks me out...

J.C. Whitney, and others (try a heating/AC shop) sells self adhesive rubber sheeting that really cuts down on the drumming noise the sheet metal panels can make. Fancy stuf like Dyna-Mat is not required unless you are getting very serious with your audio system.

I looked at several options and I think I'm just going to use indoor/outdoor carpet. It should sound proof as well as insulate. I can choose a color to match.
