Anyone know where I can find a good service manual for a 85 F250? Thanks

 

I buy the Haynes manuals at Autozone. The basic manual doesn't cover the diesal engines so I got a supplimental manual on the diesals at the same place. They aren't as good as Ford manuals but cost a whole lot less!

I got a complete set of factory manuales off of e-bay for my year of truck. wiring, engine,frame, parts, ect.

 

I have the Total Car care manual on a cd rom from Chilton, very detailed !

I get most of mine off eBay. Get the factory service manuals from Helm for your 1985 model Light Truck. They are; Engine Manual, Chassis, Body and Electrical Manual, Wiring Diagrams, Light Truck Specifications Book, Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual, Emissions Diagnosis Manual, Owners Manual, 6.9 Diesel Supplement Manual, Lubrication and Pre-Delivery Manual, Parts Catalogs (Volume 1 and 2) Illustrated and Text. That`s all I can think of off the top of my head. The Haynes and Chilton are a waste of money compared to these factory manuals. They are allowed bits and pieces from the factory manuals. You more than likely don`t need all of them, I am just letting you know what is available in the way of factory service manuals. I like to buy them all since they are no longer produced for these older models. Good luck!
