I got the ford factory service manuals on Ebay for my van for 25 bucks. They are pretty intensive, but you can do anything with them.
The seller is in the business of service manuals, and has thoudands of them. I believe they are in KY. I'll see if I can dig them up again and post their url.
OOPS! I just realized you are asking for 2004! Why not buy them from Ford? They used to have order forms for them in the back of the owner's manuals.
Okay, here are some DVD's for 26 bucks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Can you supply a little more info, I was just on the MotorCraft.com web site...I don't see where you are downloading from. I do see the complete truck manual for $1400 though.

I purchased a manual on CD-ROM from Helm Inc. earlier this year.
The manual was for the 2003 F-250 Superduty series vehicle but did not include information on the 6.0 l diesel.
I was able to return the item for my money back.
Helm may have received an update from for by now - or not.
They were pretty clueless about the whole deal and pointed the finger back at Ford - who pointed the finger at Helm of course.
