Warning to those getting liners and flaps - F350 SRW
I just wanted to pass on my recent experience with installing the Ford Wheel Liners and the GatorBack Mud Flaps.
DO NOT FULLY INSTALL REAR LINERS FIRST!
I ordered my liners from Ford and flaps from Truck Hardware on the same day. The liners came in the next day. But, due to the recent storms, the flaps came in 2 weeks later. I went ahead and installed the liners the day I received them and then yesterday went to install the flaps. DOH!
Some of the first steps is to remove some of the liner install hardware. Definitely not as easy they were to install. actually it is a PITA.
There is an upper carriage bolt that you need to remove and drill a hole in the liner. If the liner is already installed it is very difficult to access the bolt head to remove it if the liner is installed. To get to it you have to remove a liner pushpin, lower liner bolt and expansion nut. Do not install these in the first place. They get replaced with 1/4 inch cap screws for the flap brackets anyway.
So here is some instructions to make it easier for you than it was for me:
1. Before installing liner, remove the top bolt.
2. Install liner with hardware per the instructions, except do not install the pushpin, expansion nut and lower liner bolt shown below.
3. Follow flap install per instructions, except you do not have to remove the mentioned hardware.
Here's a tip that will save you quite a bit time. If your flaps are not predrilled, you will have "templates" to layout and cut the slots yourself. I only cut out one template and drilled 3/8 holes for the slot ends in one flap. I then laid the two rear flaps face to face, lined up all the edges and taped them together. Then, I just used the holes from the one liner as a guide to drill through the opposite side liner.
Hope this helps.

You are correct.
With the liners in, even with that pushpin removed, getting to that 10MM bolt is a boogerbear, especially on the exhaust side. Best tool to use is a 10MM ratcheting wrench.
It took me around 5 hours to do front and back flaps.
If I had to do it again, I'd probably remove both rear tires.
