1994 f150 4.9l v6

It has been idling bad and running rough the past week I put a new throttle position sensor in it and a new fuel pump because I was told that what it sounded like and nothing has change any ideas of what it could be

Pull the diagnostic codes or have them pulled would be a good place to start.

Welcome to FTE.

Your 4.9 is an in-line, not a V.

OBD I codes:

I'm too lazy to post the links but the links are in these threads, which will help set your mind straight and at ease. You will see throwing parts is not the way, and you will rest easy knowing you are not alone:

Ok I seen a way you could do the diagnostic codes with a test light so I gave it a try not an expert so I could have done it wrong but it gave me a 32, 23, 53, 95, and 22 how do I find out the meaning of the codes

And also is it normal to hear the fuel pump still running while the truck is running. Like over the sound of the truck

Best I can do:

Ford OBD I Diagnostic Trouble Codes¦ Retrieve and Repair

Fuel pump should be fairly quiet. OEM pump?

Plastic vs metal tank and empty vs full has a substantial effect on noise.

If your exhaust isn't the kind that will make your neighbors angry if you rev it up at 12AM the OEM pump in a metal tank will be louder than the rest of the truck at idle (if you're standing beside or behind the truck with the hood closed, otherwise the fan is the dominant noise source).
