To my knowledge it will display diagnostic trouble codes as well as run buzz test.

I have ran the buzz test pull codes and ran cylinder contribution tests with mine.

Depending on how old it is it will read and clear all codes, do a Buzz test, cylinder contribution test and the newer ones will reset for larger tires IIRC. Mine is about 5 years old and needs to be sent in, but its has lasted a very long and hard life.

Thanks for the replies!! I just installed mine about two months ago and have really had no need to scan anything (knock on wood!!). I knew it would scan but I wasn't really sure it would do it accurately like the AE scanners will. So the only difference between the AeroForce and the AE is the AE will actually tell you whats wrong where the AeroForce will just give you a code?

If thats the case why wouldn't everybody have a AeroForce ScanGauge instead of spending $350 for a AE scanner?

It is a great gauge so far and you can't beat getting 28 or so different gauges for the price of 3-4 singles along the other tools available such as the buzz, scanner, ect.
