simple question but can't find the answer here

I bought an 06 F250 without trailer wiring. Can I buy an off the shelf wiring harness that Ts into the existing rear wiring harness somewhere to connect a 7blade plug? If so, where is that spot in the existing harness and where can I find the T-harness? Would there be another connector under the dash where I can plug in a brake controller?

There is this if you don't have a factory tow package:

If there is a factory tow package and no plug at the bumper there is a harness that you can plug in to for a 7 way hookup.

I believe there is a plug under the dash for a brake controller.

This is a link to the rear harness https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-...dy/118242.html

The controller wiring should be under the dash just as little left of center, maybe someone has a photo, it's been a long time sense I had to look for one.

You will also need a 30 amp fuse and a relay if you want 12 volt power to the plug to charge your trailer battery, they are installed in the fuse box under the hood on the left side.

The harness under the dash is a real pain to find but it's there.
