Wiring Harness
I have a 2002 F250 and it has a break controller for my fifth wheel which came with the truck when I bought it.
I now want to put in the prodigy controller and while looking at how they tied the old controller into the wiring, discovered or it looked like they tied into a wiring harness under the dash. They did not plug into the clip but spliced. Is this harness the one used to plug into for the rear plugs that the trailer hooks into. I know this is pretty screwey question since you can't see it but does the F250 have a wiring harness plug in hung on the bottom of the dash?
I believe it does but want to ask before ripping stuff apart.

There is no plug. The spliced in wires on your current controller are the factory harness. Should be a simple matter of removing the old one and wiring in your new one the same way.
