If I'm not mistaken, the Swing Away mirrors with an F0 part number don't come with the gasket. The mirrors look identical with an E5 part number from the 80's, but come with the gasket.
Are they the same with identical door mounting points, or did Ford actually change something?

1973/79: There were FOUR different types using THREE different mirror heads.
The span between the upper and lower brackets could be 6 11/16" or 7 27/32."
And, one type has curved brackets, t'other has flat brackets.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
TYPE 8 was introduced in 1975 as part of the Camper/Trailer Special package, optional on other trucks and Econolines.

If you're referring to TYPE 9 Low Mount Swing-Lock mirrors, 1973/79 is not the same as 1980 and later!

The suffix is missing from this mirror, and it's very important, as due to the aero mirror head, there is a right & left.
