Side view Mirror options

I have the side view mirrors that mount to three points on the door (Camper Special mirrors?) on my '76 F250. I would like to remove them and go with different mirrors; did they make a swing out mirror for my truck? What are my options?
Thanks!!

Pete, you might be able to use mirrors from a newer truck to get the look you want. Where do you live ? Maybe I can relieve you of those CS mirrors ? DF

My '73 F-250 is not a Camper Special( it is 'only' a Custom),
but it also has ( stock, no less ) the Bright Stainless Western Mirrors with three point mounts. The big draw back to these mirrors is that they can't fold. Since they look like Dumbo ears I always worry about some idiot coming along and sideswiping my mirrors off. not to mention the skin of the door getting scragged. Sounds like some people actualy like these mirrors . I have plans to switch to the swing mirrors from a mid '80s F-series.

Pete and Eric, send me an E-mail and lets talk about how much you have to have to part with those CS mirrors, lots of us really like those. If you look about you may be able to find a tube that mounts to the door in two places, and pivots back if you want, but has the same mirror as the CS style. That is what my 71 came with originally. I traded them for a set of CS mirrors for one of my trucks. DF

[font color=red size=2]In at least '78-'79 there were fold away mirrors offered from the factory. They are chrome and have two mounting points, and fold flat against the door. You can get aftermarket mirrors like this at most parts stores or Walmart, however, they tend to shake so much that they are useless when driving at highway speed - ask me how I know... The factory mirrors off a 78 or 79 are much stronger and don't shake like that.
