How to get correct idle speed on 7.3 IDI without tach...

When I was doing the injectors, I took out a screw that I had no idea what it did...turns out it was the idle adjustment screw. I tried getting it back to normal idle speeds but I'm not sure if it back at normal speeds or not. I can't really check because I don't have a tach. What do I do?!

Do it by ear or take it to your mechanic ... The tools are expensive.

-Enjoy

as long as it does not stall when in gear at idle, or slam into gear it is fine.
hot idle is around 750 rpm, cold is around 1000 rpm. so as long as it will idle decent without stalling you are fine.
