Questions about 2.7L stop-start

We just picked up a '16 F-150 2.7L Crew Cab 4x4 XLT to replace our '11 F-150 Crew Cab 4x4 XLT 5.0L.

So far, impressed with the new truck and the cab...which is good, because I have a '17 Super Duty on order with the same cab. The 2.7L is surprisingly quick.

My primary question is about the auto stop-start. Although the engine restarts quickly, it always seems like there is a little lurch when it takes off. Anyone else notice this? Is it normal?

Sync 3 is impressively quick-responding. This is a quiet vehicle. Cloth heated seats work great.

Anyone know why the 2.7L is so noisy upon cold start-up? I mean, it is as loud as my 6.7L diesel - maybe louder - and sounds kind of like a blender. After a few minutes, it settles into a quieter tone. Is there an air pump or something running?

There was a vacuum pump on the previous generation 3.5 EcoBoosts. I assume that carried over. However, when it is working well, it's not that loud. It did get loud when it was dying though. Any chance you can compare to another truck, or have the dealership listen to it first thing in the morning?

The dealer is an hour away, so it probably won't be going back for a bit. Unfortunately, I live in a city sandwiched between two massive GM dealerships, with the sole Ford dealer going out of business last year...so I doubt I can find someone with a 2.7L to compare with, either.

Haven't noticed any lurching (coming from a cammed car) with my 2.7L. More of a gentle shutter (less than initial start up).
As for the noise, I think my truck sounds normal, mainly hear a fan sound. Can't hear the truck from inside the house when I start it up in the morning and it's completely quiet 1-2 mins later when I get in it.
