Time for some lovin'

So my E99 is still running strong. No real issues. I am about to drop some $$ into new ball joints, steering box etc. trying to get rid of some steering play and I have gone through a few other items already...so it is left to ball joints and box.
Anyway...while getting that done, I decided it is time to show some loving for the interior.
Lariat trim package...the leather on the seats SUCK.
I hate that style of seats. I do like the newer leather that is being used. but....
Anyway...very cracked seats. Have cheap covers on them that are 5yrs old and about to get ripped out as well. So...
I am looking to hopefully not spend more than $300 but...I would like new covers...decent ones if possible.
Leather ok if newer type but...I wouldn't mind cloth.

Recommendations?

I would like a good fit.

Thanks all!

as for the ball joints not really 100& sure there, same for the box, I just typically go with Timken or the Duralast brand (life time warranty) as for the seat covers I have some, not sure where they came from, but they say "Dickies" on the tag, they seem to be holding well, but I am planing on pulling them out as I really don't care for them, trying to also decide if I want new seat covers or just to keep the factory look...

Ball joints and steering box I have handled. Just need info on the seat covers.
Dickies has mad denim clothing for along time. How are your covers holding up?

I was looking at these today as my driver side seat is about to wear completely through on the outside edge from me sliding in and out over the last 14+ years.

Throw over a black and neon Mexican blanket?

Actually I'd recommend finding a reputable local shop and go with new leather and new stuffing. Cost ya 2 or 3 times as much, but the increased comfort will pay you back every day.

If you're just looking for seat covers, I have Carhartt ones on my new truck. One year and 20,000 miles and the leather looks like it's never been sat in.

You can get the info on them here. Just select your truck and seating configuration: Carhartt® Seat Covers - Covercraft

I'm not affiliated with the site, just a link to figure out which part numbers you need.

Now if you want the leather replaced, I had that done on my old truck. Took it in to Classic Soft Trim, they're over on Santa Fe south of Evans. Made the interior look like new when they were done. It's more expensive, but they do have a great warranty on the leather, and I found it to be better quality than the original.

Just some ideas....... you country hick!!!!!!!! Sorry couldn't resist, haven't talked to you in FOREVER.

as for my covers, they seem to be holding up, not sure how long they have been in the truck, but I can try and snap a pic of them if needed, me personally I would rather go with something better looking (not sure if they really match the interior but meh)...

Oh holy hell... If I did that I would never hear the end of it from my wife let alone anyone else.

Well lets see...the last I remember.... There was talk for adult beverages ... But noooo you just too damn busy huh? Damn City slickers!
I'll give them a call. The front seats are the worse...the back...not so much but would be nice to have them all match. I'll check the Carhartts. I wear em and they are tough. Although I have been contemplating buying a new truck...but had to buy a new tractor first....so now trying to work in a new truck too. Ugh...
And umm Call! I still need adult beverages. And my wife still wants to meet yours.

Here are some pictures of the covers and just day to day use of them

me and Cooper in the truck (didn't have the other two dogs with me at the time

Local car-wash folks cleaning them off for me

this was taken the day before purchase of the truck again cooper sitting on the seat covers

Cooper walking on the covers when i took this picture

the following shots arn't the best but they show the covers on as I was testing out the truck

No cover on the rear bench wish I could find a nice one, but meh

I hope this kinda gives you an idea about the Dickies covers i have, and the abuse they seem to live up to as well...

Thanks Jaime! That's just what I needed. They all look purdy on the interwebs. Easier to see fit when acually in a vehicle.
