Replacing Window Guides

I want to replace the rubber/felt window guides that fit into the rails on my window. I have the part, it is about 6 feet long. I had removed the door panel to expose the window and it's guides but I didn't know how to best remove the old ones and put the new ones in. Do I need to remove the window? If so, how do I do that on my truck (in signature)

I'm pretty sure you can just slide the old ones up and out. Slide the new ones in with some WD lube.

^^what 444dieselrod said^^
Pretty easy. Recommend some rubber protectant like Aerospace 301 or even Armor All to make it slide in easier. The protectants will soak into the rubber (unlike oils) and will bond nicely in the channel when it dries.
