Double Flare Question

I just started making my own brake lines. When I do the first flare the little tit on the anvil gets stuck in the tubing. I have to really pry it out with a screwdriver and pliers. I'm afraid after a few times it will break off. I'm using a cheap Evercraft tool set from NAPA. The flare came out pretty good.

Remove any sharp edges on the tubing first. Inside and outside. It doesn't take much.

I like to use a small drop of motor oil on the tip......

but Cheap is for a reason.. just saying.

and do NOT try to do stainless steel brake lines... with cheap tools.
