1947 ford coe donor frame options

I'm finally ready to start my coe and I have a 95 e350 frame. My question is I want to have it pretty low, am I ok with the one ton or should I find a e150 frame to use?

Hoping Tinman will chime in. He has a wealth of knowledge on what you are undertaking. I would have thought the 350 for sure but I have a friend with an E 150 van that he hauls 40 sheets of 3/4 plywood in and just hauled home a 1947 32' travel trailer from South Dakota with it, so I guess they are pretty tough.

I'm not familiar with the van chassis, but would guess the two are pretty similar except for spring and brake/wheel differences. Is the 350 8 lug?
Probably not a lot of lowering options with either one........
How does the track width measure up? Those vans are pretty wide.
