Greetings all.
My normally dependable 08 6.4 has decided that my life needed enrichment from the typical hum drum "put it in drive and just go" freewheeling, not a care in the world experience that I'm used to. About a week and a half ago "it" didn't want to engage first gear until about 5-8 seconds goes by. And it has stayed that way. I checked the trans fluid level, it looked a lil low so I added a qt. No change. Reverse is no problem. Reverse to first or park to first big delay.
Any idea what gives? Going to the dealer tomorrow.
This could get ugly.

 

Sounds like a solenoid is sticking but I am not a trans expert, do some search's, I remember this coming up before, also try searching in the heavy duty section.
