Hi - I just discovered that my 05 EB Expedition has this problem too

Mine is just about as bad as the original poster's was. (I'm not ready to tackle this repair but would like to get another year out of this truck if possible.)

My question is about the function of this Radiator Support part - does it do more than just support the radiator? That is, is it keeping the whole front end sheet metal parts like the fenders from sagging? Or is the chassis rigid enough so that it will not sag when the radiator support fails at the lower corners where it attaches to the frame? The rest of the support is solid - the problem is confined to the bottom corners.

At the moment my radiator seems solid, and I suspect I could kludge some kind of support to make sure in place (for example, by attaching some kind of straps to the non-rotted portions of the radiator support.) However, this kind of repair would do nothing for supporting the front-end sheet-metal parts.

Thanks,
-Scott
