My reverse sensors have stopped working. As soon as you put in reverse, the on off button will light up and telling you that it is off. Has anyone know what is going on and how do I correct this? Thanks Fred.
Mine did the same thing and I was able to hunt down which sensors were bad by turning the key on but don't start the truck. Either block a wheel or make sure the truck won't roll when you shift the transmission to reverse. Get your ear down to each of the four sensors and you'll hear the good ones click very softly. I had two that were bad.
I had them replaced on my 2006 F350 a few times under warranty. When they died after my warranty was up, I didn't even bother replacing them. Ssme thing happened with my 2011 F350, but that slso has a back up camera (which has always worked fine).
