My reverse sensor warning on my '08 F-350 dually sometimes squeals for no good reason when I'm in reverse. It seems to be mostly when the weather has been rainy. Is there a connection that's problematic on these, or do I just need to chase the system to find the problem? Thanks!
Mine tends to "see" the drawbar when I leave it in the receiver hitch, my tailgate if I leave it down when I'm hauling. If I'm backing down a steep driveway and I'm getting close to the street, it sees that. Keeping them clean especially in the winter is an issue. I hated my backup sensors up to the time it saved me from backing over a brand new Mercedes Benz that I didn't see parked behind me. Ever since then, I just tolerate the occasional annoyance but never ignore it.
