The Emblems were taken off along time ago for some repair and I need to find the location again . I know it was down on the bottom of the front fenders but I can not find the old holes . If someone with a 68-69 F-250 Camper Special could measure the center where the -S- crosses the straight line in the emblem , then to the door edge and down from the side trim to get a location . I'll then be able to drill and anchor with the Emblem Barrel Clips . I made a plastic template that I can tape on to locate the other drill holes . Thanks T.

 

I got 10 3/8" from the bottom of the trim to the intersection of the 's' and the center line, 5 7/8 from the door edge on the passenger's side and 4 7/16 on the driver's side on my 68 CS.

 

Look on the back side of the fenders. You'll see the holes there. Drill through the bondo from behind.

 

Thanks for that info. Coastal 68 that helps a lot . FAFFFAFA - I thought of that but after the repair they sprayed it with undercoat . We need that stuff on everything here in Mi.

What year is your Camper Special?

1967/68: Camper Special script name plate located on the R/L sides of the cowl panel.

1969: Camper Special script name plate located at the bottom of the R/L front fenders.

1968 F100/350 with 390: The only emblem at the bottom of the front fenders: C6AZ-16228-E Right & C6AZ-16229-B Left .. 390 Emblems / Reproduced

If your Camper Special is a 1969 w/a 390, these emblems are located in front of the Camper Special script nameplates.

This 390 fender emblem was introduced on 1966 Galaxie/LTD, also used on 1967 Galaxie/LTD

Besides this 390 emblem, there were 352 - 427 - 428 versions for 1966/67 Galaxie/LTD

 

It's a 69 - Built Jan 30th.1969 .

 

No problem. Post some pics of the mounted emblems when you're done.

 

Today I located the holes with a plastic template and drilled . Had to order the emblem barrel clips . Hope the pic's help someone else .
