Air Intake

Hello, I have an 06 F250, 5.4 super duty. Currently their is a K&N air intake system on the truck. I would like to put the original system back on but I cannot locate one. My theory is more air flow equals more fuel. I need from the throttle body on.... Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can purchase this? Short of going to the ford dealer and paying through the nose, I've tried ebay and google search but no success. Thanks for any help.

horizonpartsguy.com is a local to me Ford dealer with good online prices. Also try Autonation white bear lake, they have a similar online setup. Otherwise best and probably cheapest option is the wrecking yard's as mentioned above.

You could also try Rockauto.com The porpoise of the K&N is better air flow not more air. The tube that it uses is the same diameter as the stock piece. I just doesnt have the restrictions that the stock box has. It blocks heat from under the hood so the air is cooler which makes it a denser charge of air. Not realy sure changing the air filter will effect fuel mileage that much. The motor can only suck in so much air no matter if you have a filter or dont run one at all. It's all about cooler air and not more air. I don't know why they say this stuff.
