Installing New Brake Hoses

Called Crown and had them make up a set of their DOT approved 5 piece hose kits which includes the rear caliper hoses. $190 covered it, took about a week to make them up to delivery. They look very off road worthy.

I was looking for torque specs on the flex hoses and came up blank.
I believe the brake line caliper banjo bolt for the rear is 26 ft. lbs.
but I don't know if this correct and if it also the same for the front .

The torque specs at the flexible hose to the rigid brake line is also a guess. I guess when it stops leaking it's tight.

Can anyone shed some light on the correct torque values for the various hose connections?

Rear banjo - 26 lb-ft
Front banjo - 35 lb-ft

No idea at all why they're different (unless they're different sizes), but that's what the 2007 book says for caliper flow bolts.

thanks guys.

will attempt to tackle this hose R&R this weekend.

I had this filed away but forgot about it, if anyone wants to save the info for later, I modified it a bit making it more printable friendly.
Don't think this is in the tech folder.
