love my 6.0

Good to hear positive comments on these forums, they mostly attract the people with problems and tend to make people believe we ALL have problems. I'm in the same camp as you, 120,000 and no problems with the 6.0, I love the truck...engine and all. Although I admit, reading these forums gives me an uneasy feeling. I keep up on service and intend to run my truck 'as is' for as long as it will go.

I have a 6.7 and a 6.0, even though the 6.7 is my dd every time I jump in the old 6.0 it always put a big smile on my face!!! Probably cause it's loud and just feels like it's a real diesel! Don't get me wrong I love my 6.7 it's a marvel of engineerin, but it's just not the same. I always tell people that if they are looking for a diesel, buy a 6.0 upgrade all the revised parts, keep up with maintenance and you'll be good as gold!!

Its nice to see people are pleased with this truck. I've always loved diesel trucks and I am currently looking at possibly getting a 2006 f250 6.0 with 119,000 and miles. It looks pretty decent, minor rust and wear for its age. My only hesitation is I've heard so many bad things about this truck and I have also seen and read that a lot of people love them. I'm reluctant to buy something knowing that if some major fix pops up I will undoubtedly be unable to afford it. If the truck checks out what should be done to ensure it lives a good long life and what "aftermarket" parts need to be put in to bulletproof it. Good to see positivity towards this truck.
