gas tank swap

i recently bought a 97 3 door 250 ld 6.5 bed with a 5.4
on my way home i put gas in her and at the seem it poured out
so i need a tank i found a guy that is parting out a 97 standard cab with the 6.5 bed will his tank fit ??

no one knows if i can put a standard cab gas tank in a extended cab truck

this tank on e-bay says it fits a standard cab and supercab... so im voting OK.
