I`de stick with the single exhaust out the side.

It as much function. Don't need the duals per say but the factory exit SUCKS. After a rain, the EX I have exiting behind the rt rear tire will load 15 to 20#s of mud on top of it !!! The one with duals is just a little tight at the receiver & makes minimal contact.

I definitely like the looks of split duals over the side swept single or dual systems. My F250 were split behind the wheels and I didn't really like the looks much. Split under the bumper, too me, looks nicer. And yeah, not having a mud collector behind the wheels is a plus also...

Can't say I've ever seen any mud or anything kicked up on the exhaust pipe! Nothing a car wash or a drive in the rain wouldn't clear off!

My first complete custom exhaust on my 04 Silverado 6.0L V8 had true duals with a crossover pipe prior to dual cats to dual mufflers. It sounded so nice...

I had the exits run split out the back under the bumper like you are wanting. My only caution is if you will ever tow anything, it will reverb off the towed item and cause droning in the cab. If you angle them at the corners or behind the tires out to the side instead of straight back, you wil have no issues. My 2nd run from the mufflers to the tailpipe was running them at roughly 45* out at the corners of the truck. Looked very nice and no issues when towing. Just my 2 pesos (I'm currently in Cancun getting my relaxation on).

Yes. it`s a place you take your car (or truck) and it gets washed. I only run mine through it in the winter when I can`t hand wash it. it also rinses the undercarriage! Look into it!

I totally agree with this. The only vehicle that should have the exhaust coming straight back is a Mustang. Straight back under the bumper is right up there with stacks IMHO. Haha it's all personal preference.

Guy comes by my office every week and washes my Ex for $15. Will do a complete detail, inside and out, for $40.

At those prices, it's not worth my time to do that myself.

Ok, here's a video of my Ex with its current exhaust:

Not exactly high quality, but, it gets the point across...
