Navigator leaking from top
So it rained today and I noticed by the 2nd row passenger side light, the headliner has a big water leak that is dripping from that point. I opened the sunroof and noticed a little moisture around the edge of it, but nothing huge. What else would be a big entry of water. It says I can't attach pictures here for whatever reason. I did put two pictures in my gallery so you can see what I am talking about.

I did take a look and there are cracks in the paint in the rail but nothing I think would start a leak like today. I did read about this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...nroof-fix.html
I tighten the two screws in place, but what I did was use a 7/32 socket and wrachet from the inside to tighten the screws down. Shade was open and didn't have to take out the glass. Let's hope this worked.

Are you parked on a slight incline? I had 2 separate leaks caused by 2 separate issues. once it was a clogged drain tube that drains the moonroof. the second time it was the weather stripping on the passenger door when i was parked on an incline during rain where water traveled to the rear along ceiling and leaked out of the overhead lamp in the rear on the headliner.

I do park on an incline at the house. I am not sure if it leaked then or while driving. I would think parked. Where are the drain tubes so i can check them out. I did put two more pictures of the weatherstrip. The curved part of the rear passenger door had separated some and that is the side of most of the leak. The other picture is the rear driver side and a lot of that had separated from the vehicle and won't go back in. The seal looks good i just can't get it to stay where it should go.

The most typical for the roof leaking and getting wet around that area is drains from the sunroof. There are 4 drain tubes for the sunroof, one in each corner. The to front ones go down the A pillars, the two back ones are above the second row reading lights, and go down the C pillars. You'll need to take off the trim covers on the pillars, remove the few push through plastic pins and take out the coat hanger hooks, then you can drop the headliner. Drop it low enough to shine a light through, then see if you can spot where it's leaking. If not, you may have to take the headliner all the way out, through the rear lift gate, so you can close the doors and spray water over it with a garden hose or something and see where it's dripping. If I was in your spot, this is the first thing I would do to eliminate the drains, and it's the easiest. As long as you're careful, and have the necessary torx drivers, it'll take you 30 mins to get the headliner out of there.

If the sunroof closes and is fitted properly then not much water drops past the seal. Leaking past the seal is more likely while driving due to the force of the wind. Any chance you used the washer fluid? There is a hose over there that runs to the rear wiper. We seen that hose leak and cause washer fluid to get the headliner wet.

Sorry for the long update, I went to the MotoGP races this weekend. I did finally get the weatherstrip on the rear driver door in the proper location. It did rain today and when I get home I will see if it is dry or not. I also need to check the drain tubes anyways. Good idea about the rear washer fluid tube getting all jacked up. I will keep posting for updates.
