PREMIUM DIESEL FUEL - FREE SAMPLE

Hey guys,

Don't jump based on the title but just curious on your thoughts if this is worth trying on the 6.7? Can it do any harm? I'm not yet 100% convinced yet but after the recent recall (14E03) it seems I lost 1-1.5 mpg so I wonder if this Archoil would help.

So confused over additives. I want an independent lab to do testing with today's fuel and additives...

I ordered the sample for $4.95.

I run premium diesel from our co-op. I think it does make a difference. My mileage is really pretty good for a drw.

Pretty interesting and I will be watching at this time since my truck is not even broken in yet, I would not be a good "test bed" for any products...

I don't know about "premium" diesel, but CA is the only state that regulates the Cetane rating for diesel fuel sold. It may lack other things, but the higher cetane in that fuel sure helps the mpg's towing and empty, even compared to fuel in other states where I regularly add Ford's cetane booster.

I have the 4 ounce (glugs on pouring) per 25 gallons down pat, 1 ounce per tank will be a bit tougher to get right without a turkey baster.

Looking forward to hearing actual feedback.

My "Free" $4.95 sample was already shipped. I ordered it late last night my time. So he is a man of his word.

I watched the video on his web page and thought he looked familiar right away, but couldn't remember where I had seen him before. A short way into his presentation, I started noticing several inaccuracies in what he was presenting as fact and then I remembered (I think) where I had seen him before. I believe I have seen him do videos before on various Powerstroke engines and components and I recall those presentations to also be full of inaccuracies. My apologies to anyone who may take offense as that is not my intention, but his endorsement of this product doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling and I don't think I will even take him up on his offer for a "free" $5 sample, let alone eventually spending $70+ for a full sized bottle later on.

Would that be a Southern States co-op?
