Replaced transmission cooler bypass line and valves and it's LEAKING

My cooler bypass line was rusted and leaking so I bought a new one. When I installed it, the transmission fluid leaked out from the bolt that holds it into the transmission and I had to get towed home! I took it apart and re-assembled and made sure it was tight but it still leaks.

Maybe I am missing an O Ring or need rtv sealant? Take a look at the picture and my description on it to see where I think it was leaking from. (I borrowed the picture from another post on this forum and marked it up with my comments).

Let me know if I'm missing something or if you have any idea why it's leaking a lot from this bolt.

Odd... J know the line if flared so it seals against itself, you didn't happen to over tighten the fittings and strip the aluminum threads on the transmission did you?

they do not seem to be stripped the bolt goes in fine. What would my options be if the transmission end was stripped?

I would say a heli coil, ive used them before in SeaDoo motors for years, and ive used them in outboard motors and never had an issue with using them
