I bought a set of tranny cooler lines from Bronco Graveyard and I laid them out under my truck for fitting. I found that the lines sent have female ends for the cooler. I have adapters for rubber line hooked to my radiator. Am I looking for the part that threads into the cooler, or into the adapter that is in the cooler?
It goes: cooler, adapter, adapter, rubber line, metal line. I figure this is not the stock set up, so any clue as to what size adapter I need to complete this job?
That's some invaluable information. Thank you so much guys. I am spitting a quart per 60 miles out my lines and its wood hauling season for me. I hope I can get hold of a set. It is a holiday afterall... Happy Thanksgiving to all those who participate! Eat a turkey!
They're a fairly common fitting. If you can't find any at the autoparts store go to Lowe's, Home Depot or hardware store and look in the brass fittings in the plumbing dept.
