MAF Conversion

Hey guys its been just over a year since I went through my 300-6 to 351 conversion and Im chomping at the bit to redo the upper end on this motor. I want to do a MAF conversion and need some advice. I know 89 was the first year (88 for California) for MAF in the mustangs, but my question is what all do I need off the donor and are they all 302s? What will and wont work with the 351? I am assuming the intake manifold wont work because of the slightly longer stroke, is that correct?

The intake manifold has nothing to do with MAF, all you need is a MAF PCM, injector and MAF meter wiring to add to your truck, and the matching MAF meter.

Determining if you can use mustang parts is based mostly on the transmission in your truck, if you have a mechanical AOD, C6, or manual you can but if you have a PCM controlled E4OD or 4R70w then you need a truck PCM for that trans.

CONANSKI So glad your still lurking here. I wont need any new injectors or injector wiring? Have you ever used or know much about the aftermarket E4OD controllers?

The pcm you get will either need to support the e4od or you need an external trans controller

No, the conversion is changing the computer, injector harness, add mass air sensor, and a couple other things like BAP and o2 sensors.
