MAF conversion for a 408

Does the engine have the GT-40/Lightning intake on it? IF so, then no problem. If it has the truck style intake then you're going to need to order the MF to TB air tube from a '96 CA 5.8 so you can use the MAF meter with the twin truck TB.
You're also going to run out of injector with the 408W if you're still running the stock 19# units. If not, then you've also got the added $$ for the bigger injectors and MAF.
There are other ways to run it, which may be better depending on your electrical wiring comfort level.

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the info, it will have the truck intake from edelbrock so I will order that intake hose assy.
One of the reasons I wanted to rum the Ford set-up is because it comes with 30lb injectors and a 80 MM MAF.
If it was my truck I would build/wire the MAF conversion myself, but this is a customers truck and we are on a tight time schedule.
