1990 Bronco Clutch Issue
My son has a 1990 Full size Bronco with a complete rebuild on the 5.0 and it has a 5 speed trans..
The problem is... He put in a new heavy duty clutch, clutch master, slave cylinder & a new line from the master to the slave... we can't get this critter to dis engage totally and have been fighting with it for a couple months.. We have bled the system several times with no luck..
I was just told that maybe we have the wrong length actuator rod on the master cylinder to the clutch pedal.. We got the new master at NAPA and never thought about it... was told it might need a 7" rod as the one we have is 6"... also I've been told that there is an adjustable rod available ?
Any input or reference to another thread with answers would be much appreciated.. The Bronco drove fine before the engine rebuild,, no clutch issues.. My son just decided to replace all the parts while he had it apart...
