ICP won't go over 2000?
Got a buddy, his 2004 f250 ICP pressures won't go over 2000 by my scan gauge. We drove it a few days ago, seemed to run fine and have plenty of power. Was watching the gauges as he's on the fence about spending the $120 for a Scan gauge, so I put mine in his truck so he could see. We left it parked on ICP, FICM voltage, EOT and ECT. After driving to the wood pile I noticed that when he gets on it, ICP wouldn't get past 2000. Any reason or is this the beginning of the failing HPOP for the 03/04 trucks, its an early 04, he's at 181k on the clock. I didn't want to say anything until I'm certain it could become an issue with the lower ICP reading.
Mine is the late 04 with the sensor on the valve cover, his is under the turbo. Do I need to be worried as well?
Thanks!

You may want to change pids and watch ICP actual and desired and IPR actual and desired
Watch for an increase in ICP compared to a corresponding increse in IPR %.
If at some point IPR has stabalized without reaching your desired you may have a HPO system leak. By the same criteria if ICP stops riseing and IPR continues to rise this will also indicate a oil leak in the HPO system.
